The Rev. Ben Kong
Lead Pastor

The Rev. Ben Kong has been a proud New Yorker for over four decades. From elementary to middle school, high school to college, his life has been embedded in New York. Ben graduated from New York University (1986) with a double major in finance and management and entered the brave world of finance. After five fulfilling years in the corporate world, he left his beloved N.Y. for the only time in his life to matriculate at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. Missing his hometown profusely, his first ministry was a calling to return to his home church [Oversea Chinese Mission, NY] where he served for seven years as associate English pastor. Ben joined the Christian & Missionary Alliance denomination in 2001 and is currently the Lead Pastor of English ministry at the Queens Herald Church, C&MA. He strives to utilize his multilingual abilities to bridge the gap between the generations in Chinese churches.
